Changing 96 to a 97
Now, i've been doing some studying on this...and i already know that the 3800 motor is probably a waste of time..."It's not the LS-1". But, what i've got is a 1996 camaro RS, with a bad motor....and i've got a 97' 30th anniv....with a good motor...that runs.. "problem is" ....when I start the car...it dies, I don't know why...the car cranks but has had a push button switch run to the starter...it cranks and no more than 3 seconds later it dies. The car has been in a wreck...front left side...missed the rail "BARLY"... but took out the fuse relay box and cut alot of wires...some wires are still intact..but I crossed all the wires that are needed to crank....when the car was wrecked and then impounded somebody lost the keys. The ingition has been removed that one can turn the car with plyers then by pressing the switch ran to the starter...the two wires for the keychip have been crossed for constant contact, would this have an affect on the way the car runs? Or is it in the fuse Relays?....can anybody help me with this problem..????
