carb to mutiport swap
i got and 85 mutiport 2.8 and a 200r4 i wanna
swap in to my 82 with a 2.8 carb i never done a mutiport swap before and wanna know what wiring i have to do.
i know i gotta wire the fuel pump and fan is there more then that?
i plan on using the wire harness from the 85 i just curirous what i am in for any info or tips would help

It will suck, you will need most of the 85'.
You might want to put in the 85' fuel tank, I don't think there the same but it all ready has the pump, senders, and return lines.
You will need to use all the stock engine and accoserys from the 85' and when you do put it in reuse the driver side exhaust manifold from the 82' or get an S-10 manifold and put it back together with out the smog pump & crap( I did, it worked fine).
You will have to take out the dash, use some of the 85' dash parts to mount the ECU and drill holes in the fire wall for the wires to it.
You will be doing an engine compartment swap for the most part.
