and everyone says my 3.4 with flowmaster sounds awesome.

On a stock engine, flowmasters will sound bad.

With an intake and a larger I-pipe, they sound much better.

I have heard many a muffler-only flowmaster on a v6 fbod...not pleasant.

If you can, go for the borla catback, best sounding v6 exhaust hands down. Has more of a z28 sound to it compared to magnaflow/slp/flo's civic sounds, lol

Get a "tunable" Borla catback. It has adjustable plates where you can make it quiet or loud. Then voila! You're all happy.
