Will it bolt right up? If I get the manual bell house of course. If not what else will I need? Oh yeah it's a 1994 3.4L V6

Re: Automatic to Manual

sort off...

this is for a 3.8L but you will need the same parts just made for a 3.4L in your car...

Re: Automatic to Manual

Sure, it'll bolt right up.

Find a stickshifter donor car, swap necessary parts in place of auto tranny related parts. Console, pedal setup, tranny, driveshaft(?), computer, wiring related to reverse lights and that neutral start switch....probably have to rid yourself of the auto tranny hoses running in/around the radiator....

Voila. Done. Tenuous, but doable.

I'm sure it's been covered, so search the forum...

(Told you so.)

Re: Automatic to Manual

For some reason I'm all about making a sick sleeper so I've decided to put Tiago's turbo kit in by the end of this year. I was talking with him and he said the manual transmission can't take the turbo for very long and neither can the automatic but if you beef the automatic up it's your best bet. Or get a performance 4L60-E
