can someone post a 3.8L borla clip please. If I can show my parents a clip and they dont think it's too loud I'll be able to get it! (I know I've been going in all different directions with this exhaust thing, true duals would cost me about as much as borla and someone said get borla and this would be the only way) So someone with borla make a sound clip open and closed (need a quiet one to please the parents) so I can get it!

 

why don't you just get a sound clip of say one with flowmasters (not sure what is quiet on a v6, so, sorry if im mistaken about the flows) or wut not and tell your parents its borla?

 

That is a good point... the only thing I'd have to worry about then is if I get it and they go, wtf it's still too loud. Which I doubt because I'll have the thing adjusted to where it's as quiet as it will go unless I go to the track or something. I'd still like to hear a clip though.

a friend has a borla on his 97 3.8, no cat, and its alot quiter than my flowmaster is.

 

3.4s and 3.8s sound very different

 

yes...everybody knows that....they sound a lot better.
My neighbor has a 99 3.8 with the same setup and its louder than his borla too...

I have videos but someone needs to host em. I was going to make another one before the borla goes on because I just put on the headers when I made the other video and since then they have "burned in" and gotten louder .

 

I have a Borla on my 3.8 and right now I haven the smallest open plate on.

It's still pretty loud system, I idel through my neighborhood since it's pretty loud.

I'd look into the flow master if I were you, that seems to be a more quieter system (+ cheeper!)
