Better top end.

I have a 95 3.4 with 80's series flow master and just got a few days ago the k&n FIPK. The FIPK really helps all around, especially off the line. What I really want more is a better top end. Something that will make my car faster from a roll, because its fine off the line, but when I get to about 50 and floor it, its as slow as a turd! what can I get out there that will solve this problem?

headers helped my car a lot above 3500 RPM, it feels a lot stronger up top

i have RK sport headers, new they are around 500$ , i got them used from a friend from another board for 200, they were a pain to install, but i think i got them to stop leaking after a few tried at tightening the passenger side y pipe flange

Do you have just the muffler with the stock pipes or did you upgrade those also?

Bigger pipes will pull harder up top too...

Headers help just a little more.

just get a turbo and call it good. exhaust gives you a little better top end but to really get some good top end you need either forced inducion or a better cam and heads.

my guess is he wants something a lil cheaper/easier than forced induction

or he could just swap a new LS6 into it... that would give him top end
