I took my car to the Chevy dealership because my t-top was leaking and some oil was leaking on the floor of the driveway. Turns out that when my car was wrecked something in the t-tops bent so that when you push down on the t-top and lock it, it creates a small hole, thus the leak. One piece of my weather stripping is longer than the other, too. Then the oil...my head gasket is leaking. They said it would cost $1500 to replace it (90% in labor bc the engine is so far back). They said my gasket could blow tomorrow or it could blow in a year. I think Im goin to take this opportunity to change my own gaskets, along with my cam. What kind of gaskets should I use? While I have the engine in pieces is there anything else I should change that would give me more power? Thanks

I don't really understand exactly where your t-tops are leaking but when my t-tops started to leak on the V6 Camaro I took it to the shop and they made the windows go up like a 1/4" higher to make a tighter seal and didn't charge me anything for it, took them about 10 minutes.
