are these hard to install on a 97 3.8 the only things that will be hooked up is the auto start and alarm. No door locks

 

Someone told me that there is a special bypass module that needs to be purchased and i thought about what the module could be for any ideas i was thinking it's for the key chip. anyone have any experience with alarms or have been in the same situation.
