I bought a 94 parts car that my dad wants the motor/tranny out of now for his MG. His MG currently has a 3.4, 5 speed in it that is carb'd and he wants the injection for driveability and fuel economy.

Anyone have any insight into what the computer would still need as far as input and what can be eliminated?

Is the computer flashable like that in my 95 LT1?

Anyone know about how to adadpt the tranny for use with a mechanical speedo?

I am on the fence as to wether I should take on this project with my dad, but want to get some more facts first.

Would have love to try that swap on the 80 MGB ragtop I had, but those parts prices were way too proud.
