I just sent off for a used K&N Intake from a person on here, I paid a good price sp i took it. I was just wondering how much they really improve, there are a lot of different brands to, whats the best out there?

on my old 94 3.4, I had the SLP CAI, and there was a noticable difference, sorry I never had it dynoed, but there was a difference, SOTP.

I absolutely loved the sound of it. Kind of a wind sound when you hit the gas, it was great.

Only thing with mine was there was a metal piece that held it in place to the metal bar near the intake. It shook and rattled here. Took awhile to figure out what was causing the sound. I put some padding with an adhesive in this area, between the metal piece and the metal bar. problem solved.

It's a good mod.
