ls1 muffler

will a stock ls1 muffler fit on a '96 v6 firebird? does anyone know if it will still sound ok? not raspy or whatever. if i do the swap it'll just be for looks, but i was just curious about the sound.

Lots of people put LS1 exhaust on their V6. I have heard only good things about the sound. I think it just takes an adapter becase of the different sizes between the two exhausts. What do you mean by LS1 look? Lots of companies make one inlet two outlet exhausts if that's what your looking for.

An ls1 muffler does fit on any 4th gen v6's. You'll just need to get a reducer because the inlet pipe in a v8 muffler is bigger than a v6's pipe, and you'll have to get a hanger and isolator for the muffler. They sound pretty good. I have one on my car. Pics in the sig.
