A4 sliping? Need help A.S.A.P.

Ok, up until just about 30min. ago I have not had no problems that would indicate this. When I take off from a light or a stop, I can not accelerate worth a damn. It's acting as if the trans is not catching. It revs up, but no go. I checked all my fluids and everything seems to be fine. This happens around 2,000 - 2,500rpms. And then it might catch. The check engine light started flashing and then stayed on. What is going on?
Thanks

With a code being set....that should direct you to where the problem is.

More than likely the code is for a "excessive slippage" ( as if like we didn't allready know that).

Get the code read.
