98 v6 to lt4

Hey guys i dont really know where to post this but, I have a 98 camaro v6 and I have an oppertunity to get a used lt4 completley built with 40,000 miles on it for 1100, my question is how much extra money will i be spending, or if it is posible. Will the 460le be a straight bolt up. and is this over all worth it. I am not looking into buying a new car, and the v6 insurance would be a factor due to age. all help and comments are welcome.

Well, you've got two choices on where to post it, and neither of them is "Advanced Tech". Try "V6 Tech", or "LT1 Tech".

Moving to V6 Tech.....

Seriously, you have over 100 posts on this board and have been registered for over 6 months. Use the dang search feature. I swear you'll get 50 hits on this exact same question (v6 to v8 "is it worth it")

Search on the word "swap"

no not worth it! an LS1 would be worth it but then you still need a tranny. all in all it is going to cost you about 5 - 6 gs to get it done.
lt4- i wouldnt do it.
