About the GN bolt in, well from what I’ve heard it doesn’t quite "bolt in" But it does fit. I hear all you really need is custom motor mounts and your good to go.
There is someone on the board (I cant remember his name) that pulled out his LT1 and dropped in a GN. Don’t ask why. But he’s around and he's got some pics of the project.
3800 series II is a 90 degree motor that does not have interchangeable parts wiht the 4.3L
a GN motor will not bolt up but it can be done, like said I jsut think custom motor mounts, as for the tranny, not sure if it will bolt up right, may just want to go with a th700R4 or a Th350 anyways.

So the 3800 is a series II 90 deg. motor. So, will the Camaros with the 3.4 60 degree motor be able to use the same motor mounts if you swapped in the 3.8 60 deg. GN motor? Is the buick 60 deg. motor in the same "family" of engines as the 60 deg 3.4?
