im looking to put a 700r4 from a 1985 camaro 2.8L, into a 1982 camaro with a 5.0L, i was wondering if anyone knows if it would bolt-in or even if it can be done at all?

isnt the 305 a 90* engine?? i would assume that the bellhousing bolts would be different, but not positive, and would it be able to handle the torque of a 305?

You will need to get a whole new case. The V6 case is smaller than a V8 case. Call Bowtie Overdrives, they can help you out. Plus they have great trannies and excellent customer service.
