1FastV6...good news

While I won't mention here what it is that I was looking for, (you already know), I found it by calling Sallee Chevrolet. In fact, they had a couple of routes I could take to go about doing it. Basically, they can do everything in house when I am ready to order. The beauty is that it should cost well under $3,000.

*you just called me*

So, anyway they did say that tuning would require more effort but that they should be able to get it right. So, now, its down to the Part B of the scheme and see if that will work. Got a few calls to see if that is possible. That won't come cheap though. Anyway even if I can't do both, I will still do this because its better stock.

Will PM you about details.

Haha, no.

Well, I won't reveal exactly what I am doing (to get there) but my goal is the first V6 to hit 12's... already done you say? Well, what if I told you it's normally aspirated?!?

And at that, no stripped down drag car, full interior, roll cage, stereo, A/C.

As I progress through what all it will take, I will reveal the work I've done. It's just that I want to look back and say that it was all me that did it, didn't copy anyone else.

Hate to tell ya but there has been an NA V6 to hit 12's I don't know the exact details but 12SecondV6 will know he had a goal to beat that guys time. It was a stripped down strictly drag car.

It may have been his goal, but he has yet to do so. Never said I wanted to be the first guy with the idea, said I wanted to be the first guy to do it. That has yet to be done.

I don't really care to consider anything someone has done with a drag car. There are nine second 4 cylinder front wheel drive cars at the track - so??? I will never see one of those on the street.

Do I really need to preface myself by saying it will be a D.O.T. Legal, street driven V6. I shouldn't have to if I already said this...

So again, no, it has yet to be done.

good point.

This is still future planning. I try not to talk about stuff until I am ready to do it, just because I hate when people say "oh I am gonna do this and that, and then get this oh and bolt this on, yeah" ....a year later still has the stock exhaust.

But, I had to check on this because it was the basis as to whether I am going to put money into a V6, or spend that towards and SS. So, since it came through I can start saving to dump money into a bottomless hole.

First things I will do though, will be to replace the clutch, when it's on its last few miles. For performance I will first go with a limited slip differential, and Lower Control Arms to kill the wheel hop.
And then a Fast Toys Ram Air with the lid, filter, and bellow.

After the basic stuff, I'll stop with straight line performance and start looking into all the suspension and braking goodies. And somewhere in there I will step up to 295/315 17" rubber.

But all that is ------------> on down the road a ways. You'll more than likely see me driving the Z28 first.
