1992 camaro 3.1L overheating need help.

I have a 92 with the 3.1L. It's been overheating a long time but i now have to drive the car everyday so i'm trying to fix it. i thought it was the cooling fan since the fan did not come on so i ran a toggle switch and that did not fix the problem. Then when the car was running hot i felt the upper hose and it had alot of pressure on it so i thought it was the thermostat so, i changed that out and now the problem seems worse. When i get out of the car the upper hose had a little pressure on it not like before but, there was a little. Also when i shut it off there are bubbles it the overflow tank. Is there a air bubble in the system or has the water bump gone bad?
