I think the above quote from your first post just MAY have been why most of us thought you WERE flaming 3rd Gens.......by the way, it's "airlines".

Been on this board for almost six years, about the most disrespectful comment toward a fellow Camaro owner I've seen.

Thats the best part about my car. I get a cocky 4th gen owner, even the mustang owners pull up next to me laughing untill they are watching the LS1 power pass them by.

I usually don't post up here, but I had to respond!

That line about white trash airlines has got to be one of the most ignorant statements I've heard coming from another F-body owner.

I have a 93 Z28 and an 87 IROC-Z. I would rather drive the IROC-Z than the 93. I personally don't like the way the 93 rides or handles. It might be faster top end, but I don't drive at top end. The IROC-Z is a much more refined, better looking and handling car than the 4th gens.

Not my opinion and not trying to flame 4th gen owners, but my wife thinks the third gens look more masculine and more of a guys car. She thinks the 4th gens lines are sexy and are definately a girls car! Again, this is my wifes thinking. She doesn't like the IROC-Z for herself, but thinks it's a great car for a guy. 94slug, what do you drive again?

Third gens are awesome imo. Their engines, of course, aren't quite up to the standards of fourth gens, but that's to be expected of course, GM was trying to make their cars faster, not slower.

And calling a 3rd gen a mullet-mobile is kind of stupid, considering that the LT1 owners are starting to be looked down upon as a little uncouth. Not like it bothers me, though. I love making new cars look stupid with my 9 yr old "archaic" car. I assume wasting new cars with an even older 3rd gen is even more satisfactory, yes?

As far as that goes, I have seen some awesome third gens, one that runs 11s, and I have also seen some beat up ones that run 15s, and the owners are cocky just because they have a V8. It's too bad they don't do some research and realize that not all V8 engines are the same.

The bottom line is, don't knock on f-body drivers unless they give you a good reason. I've seen some idiotic ones, but most of them are cool.
