White trash airlines kill

No the greatest kill story but I got a kick out of it. I was on my way to a friends place when a 89ish Iroc started reving at me, If I was back in Florida I would have just laughed at this guy and cotinued on my way, but since I have not had a kill in a while I had to unleash the furry. Dude punches it from 35ish which was big mistake my boost hit 11psi like nothing, once regaining traction I was 3-4 cars on him in about 2-3 seconds. He pulls up to me at the light and asks if its stock lt1, I had to reply stock to the filters..

Irocs are nice cars but they are white trash arlines.

The lines of the third gen are waaayyy better than any fourth gen. Too bad it gets stereotyped as being a redneck ride (or white trash airlines as you put). Truth be told...You see a good looking fourth gen and it is just that......A good looking fourth gen (like the one down the street and at work and at the mall etc.etc.etc.) You see a good looking Third gen and it hits you in the gut like a sledge hammer....You have to pay attention to it as long as you can until it disappears from sight.

I know I know....There are more beater third gens than fourth gens....but give it time, The fourth gen will fall into the category also (by then you will probably not have your fourth gen and will be ******* it out as well).

No flame towards you.........I just do not like the stereotype. Check my website out to see a third gen (Formula ) that will probably find it's way onto your wallpaper j/k on that last part

Too bad everybody can't have a 4th gen, you must be so lucky, and feel so good about yourself.

Why the need to be hating on fellow Camaro enthusiasts? So you beat a IROC, WOW. I beat LT1's all the time but I don't run to a Camaro site and post up ignorant comments like, whooped up on another GEO Storm on steroids. I've got too much Camaro respect. Sounds like the guy was interested in your car and atleast he knew it was an LT1.

When the IROCS first came out, I immediately fell in love with them.....there is a canary yellow one around town in mint condition that I still drool over........IROCS rock! I am already seeing crappy ugly-assed beater 4th gens around, and they look worse than the third gen beaters to me!

My dad bought new in 1987 an IROC-Z with the 350TPI, fully loaded with everything right down to the "loovers" on the rear window. Still have the original window sticker it was a 22K dollar car back in '87. I was given that car when I turned 16 (I'm 22 now), it had 86K miles on it. I drove it for awhile and gave it to my brother when I bought my '97 Z28 6spd....I now have the SS. My brother totalled it eventually, but to this day it was a great handling car, and had lots of low end. The suspension was so stiff the plastic dash had cracks in it along with the side mirrors. I loved that car!

I agree. A nice third gen is something hard to look away from. I remember building IROC models as a kid. Little did I know that someday I would buy my own Z28.

I dont' know why you wanna trash on thirdgens. If it looks good, and the guy takes care of it why rag on it? It doesn't make sense.

I bought my 89 cause it was a good deal at the time. Yeah, its a project, but I've been focusing on the drivetrain over the paint. The car came from California and doesn't have rust at all. Though the paint is faded.

Besides, having riddin in a 97 Z28, and my 89 GTA i'll take the 89 any day of the week I actually have to turn. Even if it is slower down the track than a LT1.

Came across the wrong way, was not flaming thirdgens just the third gen that had two sophisticated durango citizens. There are plenty of third gens I would own and or will buy someday.

I've had quite a few f-bodies over time and so have my friends. I can't seem to think any of them would fall into the white trash category. Just to name a few, a 99 T/A, 95 Formula, 87 Trans Am, 79 & 81 Trans Am, 99 Z28 SS, 1990 IROC, 1988 IROC, 1992 Z28, ETC. I've had my share and all have served me very well....and after all that what do I have now??? The 1987 Trans Am. Yes, a third gen. Oh, By the way....it's white too...Like they say though....OPINIONS ARE LIKE A$$H0LEZ---EVERYONES GOT ONE.
