Vette driver gets shut down

On my way home this morning I had to stop and get some gas. I'm minding my own business when some old guy in an old L98 Vette pulls in next to me and starts filling up as well. He must has put like $5 bucks in the tank cause next thing I know he's standing next to me spewing forth BS. I just love hearing how his old, beat up Vette has no problems handling these newer LT1 and LS1 cars, although he has some troubles with Z06s. Anyways, I leave and he catches me at the redlight before the air port and he's still talking **** when he suggests we run for fun. I'm in the mood for a little fun and he suggests we start from a roll since he gets no traction. Anyways, we take off and I leave the car in second, around 30 he starts to go for it so I start messing with him. I let him get his front fender in front of me, then I rush up ahead and put his nose right on my tail lights, then I take about 3 seconds to shift and he catches back up to me, I ease out the clutch and do the same thing again. I'm kinda snickering at him. So he motions me to pull off at the next road and he starts talking about how surprised he was that my TA kept up with his vette. So he suggests we go again and I agree. This time I'm not playing him as bad and I actually shift like I usually do. Anyways we go from a 30 roll again and I run the car to just before I start making boost and I don't fool around shifting. A good 8 car lengths later I coast down from 90 and he pulls up next to me at the light and just starts making up excuses and then he says we need to go from a dig and that he's going to use his nitrous. I'm like sure, why not (I know there's no way this car has nitrous on it). Anyways, it just wasn't pretty. I think he was still crossing the intersection when I was shifting into 3rd around 70 mph. He turned around and headed back the other way. It was a funny morning.

You would think an old man would have a clue. I guess not. Good kills!

Stock LT1 bottom end, heads were ported by Brent Frazier, a 224/236 Comp blower cam, and a Vortech V1 S-trim pulleyed for 7-8 PSI currently making 4-5. Plus every bolt on known to man I think.

I need to get off my lazy butt and install my methanol kit and the 10# pulleys I have sitting in the garage.
