1996 Z28 vs. 2000 SS

Just got my car yesterday and I raced my buddy from a stop. Both cars are entirely bone stock, not free mods or anything at all. He has the 2000 SS and I just purchased the Z yesterday. I got him off the line and held off until around 70ish and then he just pulled away, just as I thought it would. Thought I would share a lil LT1 vs. LS1. The only problem he has is he cant afford to mod it, while I can, Springtime we will have a rematch!

good run. are both m6 cars?

surely he can afford the "free" mods. i felt a difference in the way my car ran with the fra mod, more-so than with the others. cut-outs are pretty cheap, too.

You'll need atleast all the bolt ons to hang w/ him, LS1 is a monster up top compared to the LT1.

They are both A4 camaros. He has to work ALL the time to pay for it, he is 17 and is dishing out 500 dollars a month for the car payment (over 3 years) plus insurance for that SS. So he has no money or time for any mods, especially since he doesn't know any of the free mods.

I race a co-workers '00 SS M6 all the time. He's got LT's, no cats, Loudmouth and a lid. I get pretty much the same results since he's running bald 275/40/17's. Around 60-70 MPH, he passes me like I'm standing still. On the highway from a roll, forget about it. It's down right embarassing!
