Turbo VW Golf gets put in it's place

So Im cruising home from work the other night, minding my own buisiness In my 97 Z28, when this ricer in a turbo Golf does a flyby on me. I sped up slightly to gain on him, he proceeded to keep ahead (I wasnt really trying). A mile up, we hit the toll booths. I edged in behind him before the toll, and he was creeping, trying to annoy me it seemed. Finally, he pays the toll and creeps foward...I pay the toll right behind him. As soon as I roll out...he hits it, while I was in BACK of him. I just decided he needed to be reminded that his car is slow. I nailed it, jumped into the next lane, and blew by him while shifting into 2nd and fishtailing. I took it up until about 90 in 4th gear before shutting it down. Poor bastard didnt know what hit him. Another Ricer taken out.

Maybe you were driving kinda slow?

I sped up slightly to gain on him, he proceeded to keep ahead (I wasnt really trying). A mile up, we hit the toll booths. I edged in behind him before the toll, and he was creeping, trying to annoy me it seemed.
How could someone creeping up twords a toll booth attempt to **** someone off? Maybe you're just hot headed, and had it in for the guy because he was driving faster that you initially?
I routinely "pass" way faster cars, not to fly-by them OR challenge them, but I just drive fast on the freeway.

Finally, he pays the toll and creeps foward...I pay the toll right behind him. As soon as I roll out...he hits it, while I was in BACK of him. So, he waited for his gate to raise for him, then lower for you, THEN raise again to punch it while you were how many yards behind him? hmmmm

AND you passed him while shifting into 2nd! Crap! Either you "raced" a 40 year old lesbian who wasn't trying, or a 2.0 N/A golf, with a ricer inside!

I'm just busting your ***** ****. Its my duty to try to defend fellow VW drivers. Ricer or not. BTW, why was he a ricer? Because owned an import, or because of the decals and "fart cannon"?

dang, why did it star out when i said " M A N G "?

I've watched 'em run 10.70s in the 1/8th. Traction issues yes, but funny because the two that were there that night were both slower than my Grand Marquis.

Yep... I had a tough time pulling one from about a 70 mph roll.... of course both of my exuast(sp) manifold gaskets were leaking at the time

the dude is from jersey, if this was on the garden state pkwy, there is no gates to raise... u just pay and go, esp if u have easy pass.... up by me (exit 172) they have easy pass express and u can go through it at like 60... i love it

Love that express E-Z Pass. They should put that in down near the Exit 130/Turnpike crossover.
