Stealth TT VS 01 6M Z28

I arranged a race between two friends...

94 Stealth TT w/ boost controler, Intake, downpipe, misc other mods.
01 Z - Bone stock

Went from a stop with expected results: Stealth wins by 3 cars
from a roll, the stealth took the hit, and pulled 1-2 cars thru 2nd gear, but once he got into 3rd, couldn't walk the Z anymore.

Makes me all fuzzy inside about american muscle.

I should say so - it takes all you can squeeze out of the stock turbos to just match an LS1 on the top end. I usually tie with mildly-modded LS1s from a roll.

Dont forget the driver factor, Ls1 make awsome power even stock, so 3 cars seems a bit much, maybe it was a driver error. BUt you can definately wake up a turbo car with the boost controller.

You're saying the "from a stop" results aren't right? Have you seen what a Stealth with those mods does from a stop? Try: http://moojohn.com/stealth/johnm.mpg

The Supra in that video ran a 13.3 @ 110, which would be quicker than any stock LS1, and look how far behind he was...

I had a Stealth TT. If his car is tuned right and he knows how to drive, he'll hammer you hard.

Stock fuel management on the TT right now. he's looking for a second 14b to put on, and then will have to spend some $$ on fuel supply/control, and should smoke the Z after that- but until then, launching is the only thing he's got on the maro
