nope...you can get the in the states.

but you have to be an R.I ....and if your not a RI the car cant leave the RI untill all of the modifacations have been made to the car to make it legal...

seat belts, mirrors, head lights

motorex paid to have a few of them crash tested in the states...that gave them the right to be the only importer for a few years...and the time has passed aso now any R.I can import the car, make the changes...then you are good to go ..... i have about 1,000 page doc. from the Nhtsa on every thing that must be done to import the Skyline.....the crash bars in the door and the one under the dash are the hard parts.

Re: Schooled a Skyline...

I see skylines over here all the frickin time! it's rediculous...and some of them are totally wicked.

If i wanted to, i could import one if i wanted...and if i had the extra $16,000. that's how much it costs....it sux. if i had that kinda money...it'd be done...lol.

Yeah. did you guys see the R34 GTR NUR on ebay? holy crap. Even though it's in New Zealand...

Oh and anyone driven a skyline? a stock gts-t is actually rather fast...although definitely NOT enough to beat even a stock Z28... dunno about a GTR haven't driven one of those yet...

Re: Schooled a Skyline...

i go to hvac school with a guy who has a nice white R32 gt-s. i hear theyre comparable to a stock 5L rustang for speed. But ya i see a ton of them around my parts. good gts' can go for a bit over 10 11grand and a good gtr is like a bit over 20k. but i hear they have some issue with the headlights pointing into the opposing traffic cuz its right hand drive. who knows. i see more of them than Fbods now...terrible.
