I got in a little race from a 30mph hit and ran all the way up to 80 something against an 04 lightning. I only lost to by a half of a car length and I only have the exhaust and ignition upgrade installed right now that's in my sig. I think he was also stock but had some exhaust. I was very surprised that I kept up with him pretty much. What do these suckers run??

 

Hard to say...some Lightning are quicker than others as in any make/model.

 

I think high 13's is the average for the later model ones, pretty impressive for a truck, considering Dodge's hemi is way out there in the 16's somewhere- on that note, the one magazine that I have seen test an SRT-10 so far got a 13.6, some of which being traction limited, of course, even with the monstrous rear tires.

 

01 and later Lightnings will run 13.4ish

 

A guy I know took his bone stock 03 lightning and got a 13.5 then did the usual lightning mods and got a 12.7 or 8 I don't remember.

 

Weather is the biggest factor in Lightning performance.

Times in sig are with 4lb lower, tune, cai, shift kit.

 

i raced a 04 black lighting last night on the freeway, good race even until 100 then i started to pull away but he was still not to fare back by 147, i think it was modded..
