Im an 18 y/o and I think the ricers are so stupid. Even if its stock. Some are cool but I will never drive a foreign brand name vehicle. Especially since i got my Z. Id probably cry like a girl if anything happened to it.

That, and my dad died when I was 8. He had bought 2 insurance policies for $150,000, one for my sister and one for me. So, I bought a 2000 Firebird, in cash in April of 2000, then decided that I wanted a T/A. So I bought the T/A as well. But I financed it so I could start my credit.

the main thing that seems to bug me about ricers is that they drive their cars so hard EVERYWHERE they go, until the whole car starts falling apart. Then when they have the choice of repairing their cars, for their own safety, or making it go faster, guess which one they choose? That and the fact that I have a BUNCH of ricey friends that I wish would stop trying to drift their cars. I tell them that drifting is dangerous on public roads and all they have to say to me is "you just don't want us to drift anymore because you can't do it in your camaro"......as if what I was saying was a joke.....

Well heres the car story. My first car was a 2000 Firebird. Then I got the T/A and eventually sold the Firebird. While i had the T/A, I bought a 96 Dodge Avenger for winter but it broke so I ended up selling it for like $500. Then I broke the tranny in the T/A like 4 times and then the gears snapped. I traded it in for a 98 Mustang GT (say nothing about this ) I wasnt too fond of the GT so I traded it in for a 97 Z28. The Z got repo'ed on some bullsh*t while I was in basic training. THEN, I bought a 97 T/A in cash when I got back from Korea which i just sold in February so I could buy the 99 Z28 that I have now. Thats my life story on cars. All this in a little under 4 years...So thats 5 F-bodies and a Mustang in 4 years. No need to tell me I'm an idiot, I know. The morale of this story: Never give an 18 year old BOY $150,000!

RICERS drive hard everywhere they go no matter what they drive....cavalier, civic, geo or auto LT1....the driver is the ricer...not the car

As for the kid that says he would never buy or drive a foreign car Some day when your older and maybe have a little money.....the Enzo Ferrari might appeal to you

But then again....that requires taste

I actually do take offense to that. I know what my dad wanted. And for that reason, I am going to do what he wanted. Who said I wasn't persuing my degree? For one, I am in the military, so the education is free. And who's to say he wouldnt be proud of me for serving my country? Certainly not you. And for your information, I bought a house with that money as well. I didnt blow as much as you think. ALSO, my step father is a professor in the state of Illinois, meaning I can go to any state college for 50% off. And then theres that G.I bill thing that I have which pays me to go to school once I decide I want to use it. So I apologize for taking such offense to your comment, but if you dont know what your talking about, please dont tell me what my family wants for me.
