quick kill

so i was on my way home from the gf's house at like 4 in the morning and i pull up to a red light with a 05-06ish accord sports coupe from what i read these things have 240 hp, anyways i pull up and he starts creeping foward, the kid looked like he was in his late teens maybe early 20's, so he's creeping like he's just waiting to go on green so i decide to go even though i know there is a police station at about the 1/4 mile mark. so i just said a little prayer that it'd be over and i could just shut it down before then. so the light turns green and we go he jumped the light a bit and i got a little antsy and spun so he ended up getting a pretty good jump on me cause i had to let off then ease back on. with all that he never got more than a fender out on me. but when i was finally able to put my foot to the floor the "race" was over i caught him and jumped out 3-4 cars where i let off cause i was approaching the station thankfully that light stayed green and there was no popo in sight! a prayered answered i guess.
btw i have a 93 z28 a4 k&n intake, hooker catback, exhaust high flow cat, vortec intake elbow, and tb bypass thats pretty much it

i know when i saw that i was suprised but i guess the low weight makes up for the lack of torque. but in all honesty i think car and driver is being a bit optomistic with those #'s cause when i got traction i pulled him pretty good, but it certainly had more ***** then i expected. anyways it was nice to get that one because the day before a cobalt ss wouldnt bit and an 06 gt wouldnt go either when i was going to her house. so it was nice to get something on the way home!

Nice kill! Gotta watch out for the cops. My radar detector picks them up if they're running radar, but if their not they can still write you up for an "speed contest" ticket...
