Pulled by GTO...

Well I was on my way home from a wedding saturday night when my friend that was following me took off in her little explorer and goes wide open to get in front of me. I pulled up next to her and gave the throttle a little prod to mess with her at the light and didn't notice a 6.0L GTO on the other side of her... Well the guy in the Goat gives me a big rev and launches from the light when it goes green. As soon as I figured out what it was I went WOT, but neglected to hit the traction control button, so he just waled away from me and then hit his flashers like he's driving a Honda... I couldn't just let that one go so I lined up with him again and actually remembered to turn off the TCS. I got out a good two cars on him spinning through first and about half of second. Once we were both hooked up he started creeping back and managed to put two cars on me by the time we shut down at a little over a hundred. It was a pretty good run, but I still think I should have held him off. I'm going to have to go through the ignition again and get it on the dyno for some more tuning...

You have some good bolt ons but your not holding off a LS2 at higher speeds. Good runs

Yeah, he should walk away from me... At this point it's a bolt on car so I expected him to leave me, but to be honest I think I should have held him off longer than I did, especially on the street. Maybe it's because I drove around with a built motor car for so long and I'm just not used to being slow again.

I went from my Z running 11.30's to my Mustang running 14.30's

The Z ran the 1/8 mph what my Mustang trapped in the 1/4

The 'stang is now a little faster and with the turbo kit i'm purchasing should be a lot faster next year.

Slow builds but they're fun
