Was a crazy night, the 3 of us lined up and took off. The SRT4 had some traction problems( wheel hopping =P ), the EVO had a slight launch on me, by the time we passed the mark the SRT was 3 cars behind the EVO, and the EVO's front bumber was at my pass. door. Then they wanted to do a roll on ( they wanted to be in the boost zone), so we started at 30mph and that when I saw the true power of that SRT. By the end of the race the EVO and the SRT were neck n neck. Had a good car and a half on the EVO though. Makes me happy that I bought this car instead of that 96 3000GT SL that I was looking at before buying the Z28( even though it looked so sexy).

 

We're also glad you didn't buy the SL.

 

Why would the Evo want to run from a roll? It is an awd turbo car he should rip us off the line.

 

yea i know my friends 91 AWD turbo talon smokes me off the line. and only has 195 hp. but later sees my tailights.lol

 

Yea thats what they are made for in stock form. To win stoplight to stoplight races. They can be made into beasts though.

 

The SRT4 had the Mopar stage 1, and the EVO had an intake and the cat-delete pipe. I think I could have done better becuase my fuel pump isn't holding pressure good anymore. Going to get a 2 30 packs of beer, round up a few friends and install my new walbro 255 this weekend.
