I agree. Cool video, and cool background music too.

That's how a 6 speed should be shifted. I have vids of me racing in my '97 that would make that guy's shifting seem slow. :P

Yep that is the way to shift, when you do some serious thing. Everybody who drive manual cars, they should of know to shift like those guys. I'am from a European country, and overthere 90% of the cars manual (recently might be little less). So even the girls must knows how to drive it, because you not law to make driving test with automatic car, and on top of that you must make a mechanical test, what means, you have to know theoretically how the 2, 4 stroke an diesel engine works, and the transmission and brakes . Also you have to know how to change your tires, light bulbs, air filter, and of course know how to check oil, and wather levels in your car, and many other things (yes the girls has to take this test too) (our driving book with the technical informaton together over 200 pages) . My wife had a Supra with manual transmission, and she had no problem to shift fast like this guys. Please those guys who has auto transmission sport car, don't take personally...... but my own opinion, if it is a sport car must be manual, and knows how to drive it

That's nice and all but automatics still make the best drag racers when you have real power.

Re: LS1 vs LT1

I wonder if in the list of mods if "LT4 cam" was the stock production cam or the LT4 hot cam. I would guess that they ment hot cam but a kick as# driver can make a big difference. It is easy to tell that that driver in the white TA is a good driver, but does little to illustrate the skill of the LS1 TA driver. We all know, or alteast should be able to admit, that the LSx motors are very strong runners, but are not unstoppable. Despite being strong runners does, not mean that it will run strong, especially in the "wrong" hands. I just don't see the stock LT4 cam being able to pull that off, who knows, just some thing to consider. Either way sweet race and cool vid.
