Ls1 kill

We'll im not as proud of this one as i am the s/c stang. But me an my little bro decided to race(his car is in sig also) since he had gotten his new spec stage 2 clutch broke in. I let him launch and i waited a second(makin if fair cause he has street tires) and i took off slowly. I floored it and caught up to him and passed him. By the time we let off i was goin about 110 and had about a 2 1/2 car lead. His times are in sig from last year with the stock(almost out) clutch. I think he could get some high 12s out of his car if we drove down to a much lower track(closest track is 3500 ft.)

Just can't wait till the track opens in may.

Re: Ls1 kill

Thanks guys.

Im gona have to watch out though. He is planning on doing headers, cam and a good tune. But he is still in high school so it takes him awhile to get the cash workin fast food and makin car payments.

Must be nice to have an LS1 in high school, I only had a 94 Formula. Nice kill. I felt real good about repeatedly beating an Ls1 at the track, until I realized that he only had a lid, exhaust, and mids, and I have.. well it's in the sig.

Ya he's lucky. It is real nice and he only had to pay 8k for it. He'll be payin on the loan for awhile though.

Re: Ls1 kill

good stuff James. i read the GT kill also
go easy on the car until you get the tune dialed in tho. no need in taking any chances with all the fresh bottom end parts!

btw, James setup is the setup i had that ran the times in my sig. with minimal tuning
