That poor Cobra at the beginning, and all the 350Z's! I thought the Nissans would fair a lil better with all that crap, especially the TT.

 

Those were some good races, finally some in day light so you can see whats happening.

 

that TT was pretty neat. What was with the cobra? 35 shot? what is that?

Those were cool. I would feel bad to have a TT 350Z and even just tie with a cam only Z28, lol

 

My brother has a 350 and we've been checking on turbo kits for it. The mildest, cheapest kit we found brought the car up to 375 rwhp (for $5000)....so it should beat a cam only Z, but I guess not. Needless to say, he decided against the turbo kit and bought a R1 instead. Nothing like mid 9's for $10k

Couple of months back I was at Gateway and there was a 350z with a SC running 8psi and was turning 13.4 @ 104ish. The races are not that surprising based on what I have seen at the track.

 

Damn that's sad. We've got a guy on the GTO forum that runs 13.6's@102 bone stock! 2 tenths and 2 mph with a supercharger is pathetic.

I've got it saved but have no idea how to host...I'll mail it to someone if they can host it...

 

i ran 13.7 @ 103 bone stock in my 350z...headers , exhaust , intake and pullies got me 13.1 @ 105

with those mods 26x10x15 et drags and a zex 175 wet kit got me 11.96 @ 126 and that is in full trim with 3/4 tank of gas and my subs in the back

and i still havent found an ls1 or lt1 fbody that can run with me on the highway even without the spray...

and i have a pretty nicely built lt1 camaro

if i didnt have to roll out of the gate easy for fear of breaking the little half shaft irs axles i would bet i could pic up 3-4 more tenths


im by no means saying the z is the baddest thing going but stock for stock good driver/good driver it will run right beside any lt1 and most ls1 cars

once you start modding though is where the lt1/ls1 cars really bennifit...takes alot more money to make that 6cyl car go fast
