Lightning Gets Lit Up!

Unfortunately the Lightning was me. I usually don't race but this guy in a yellow 993 TT kept peeling out at every stop light, revving his engine so I could hear his blow off valve, etc. Anyway, I think what the heck? So from a stop we both punch it. I take him until his turbo spools up, then it was over quick. We went to about 80 and by that time he was walking away quickly (I can't bring myself to say he was running away from me). Anyway, thought I would share it with everyone. Anyone know what a 993 TT runs in the 1/4?

I seem to remember something saying they trapped around 120 a few years back and well into the 11's.

It's ok bro. My buddy had a Harley Davidson edition supercharged. He ran 9 flat in the 1/8th which is about a 14 flat in the quarter. I mean a 4,500-5000 LB vehicle running those times deserves respect nomatter what.

Last year at the track in Tulsa I watched a black TT porsche run consistent 12.00 to 12.10's @ 119/120/121.........They are sneaky fast. I ran a red older turbo 930 with work done to it (made 400 / 420) on the street in tulsa and he pulled me from 2nd gear to 4th gear about 1 1/2 cars to 100.
