Lame Truck Driver loses...

So I pull next to an unknown newer truck (looked 04+), sorry I don't check identify the make model of cars/trucks as quickly as some of you do and a lot of trucks look the same to me. Anyways, we're at a stop light going up a hill. He guns it, so I think he's trying to race, I was right. I put the pedal half way down, toying with him a bit ans then I put it to the floor and pass him. Only I didn't pass him by much, which only adds to my increasing dissapointment of my 3.4L slow camaro. Anyways, after I beat him, he gets angry or something and changes lanes and pulls up behind me, riding my *** realy close going 50MPH in a 35 zone. I know he wants me to speed up so he can speed up with me and continually ride my ***, so I decide to make him more angry by gradually slowing down. So he starts getting too close to my rear and honking so I gun it when we get to a flat road and he turns into the next right. What an *******. Has anyone else encountered this behavior?

So after this, I won't be trying to race any cars or trucks after my car's pathetic performance. I felt like I should have killed him a lot easier, even in my 3.slow.

Depending on the truck, you might have done nicely against it, or he *should* have crushed you (SRT 10, Lightening, etc..).
BUT.. ditch the 6-cylinder and get a Z (or SS )

Hehe, my bad. If anything the Camaro should be at the top. But that wouldn't make sense now, would it

Re: Lame Truck Driver loses...

I'm fairly certain it was a Ford or Chevy. And now that my neighbor got a new F-150, it looked a lot like it.

Yup, that's the plan, but I need more $$ sor it won't be for a little while. I just can't decide on LT1 or LS1, I haven't done much research yet on each yet tho.

Re: Lame Truck Driver loses...

LS1 all the way (if you can afford it.) TONS of power, INSANE mileage, and INCREDIBLE reliability

Re: Lame Truck Driver loses...

Well today I figured that if I got an LT1, modded it to 300 or more HP, It would have eventually cost me the same amount of money to have just found and bought a decent automatic tranny LS1. LS1, here I come. .

Re: Lame Truck Driver loses...

Sounds familiar. My 3.4 gets no respect from the local pickup/SUV drivers. I can usually ignore the urge to chase/race them. An exception would be last week when a soccer mom in an old Bronco full of kids gunned it to cut me off. I can't tolerate that, nor do I understand why people do those kinds of things with children in tow.
