Re: killed by GTP

that is no sleeper at all. i bet u could hear that thing from a mile away, IDLING. when the lights start to drop u can hear my car come up to stall speed. that is open exhaust, my car is kinda loud. that is the least u hear of my car!
but yeah u wouldnt expect that good of a time from a GTP. i wonder if he was spraying?

thanks for the replies

Re: killed by GTP

That is a pretty quick GTP. He could be spraying, most of us don't. there are quite a few GTP's running 11's and low 12's now. They keep coming out with new cams and parts to make em faster and faster. On the street that GTP would be a sleeper because he would cap off his exhaust dump and wouldn't sound anywhere near as mean, until he go on it.

Re: killed by GTP

well if that is the fastest GTP's out there. this guy is knocking on there door. he is probably on some GTP boards. from Fargo ND. dunno, and the DA wasnt that great. in decent weather he wouldve been 11.8 or so.
yeah with stock rims and exhaust on the street, i bet he hurts some people's ego's.

Re: killed by GTP

Zoomer from ZZPerformance has run a 10.87 with his GTP wtih many mods, but still runs an M90 supercharger. Runs it on the street in Grand Rapids MI. and regularly drives it to our club events and dyno runs. Not too shabby. His girlfriend drives a non supercharged gt I think she has hit 12.7's.

I forgot about the turbo cars. Turbo Tim runs great too. I got a chance to drive a club members car new GTP with a T64 turbo. Pulled like a bear and didn't make a sound other than tire squeal. He's gone high 11's with it and it looks stock other than a custom hood. But hey if you f body guys put a blower at 14+ lbs of boost we wouldn't stand a chance.
