I guess I will start with I think it was a sion I guess TC. Whatever the car is? I got off work and he was waiting for his girlfriend outside the gate in his car. Then seen me so I guess he wanted to have some fun. Followed me to the highway and when I was getting on the highway I got on it and left him he cought up with me and the next town. Then pulled me over and told me that thing is fast whats it got a Ls1. I said no man an Lt1 he asked did you spray it? When you got on the highway cause you left me and I kept hitting the rev limiter but I got it up to 120 I was like WTF just cause its a Lt1 it cant be fast? I told him no I didnt spray it I got to 140 and didnt see you anymore so I let off and costed to the next town. I was like what a ricer asked if I sprayed it then told me he kept hitting the rev limiter. What the hell no respect cause its a Lt1 even from the ricers

Yeah I don't really understand the whole no respect from ricers. Hell, I ran an S2000 the other week and before we ran he was like "is that an LT1?" I said yeah and he kind of scoffed. Then I proceded to whoop his *** by 8 cars up to 80.

 

Yeah I dont understand I hear stories all the time on hear where they cant handle that they get handled by a LT1 but now I know what you guys mean and still didnt get any respect after I smoked his *** Oh well another kill

these ricers act like an average ricer puts out 285hp stock, when in reality they put out around 140. LOL.

i see a lot of ricers that say, oh its an lt1? i can smoke it, but when they hear a 5.0 mustang, they think its all fast.!!!!! When in reality, any lt1 can take a 5.0 . That shows how much they know about lt1s.

 

I can second that. The old 5.0's have the "race car" aura to all the ricers. I had an 89 GT that all the ricers were scared of racing, yet my LT1 is faster than my 5.0 was and I always get hated on by the ricers. I don't mind though, just makes it that much more fun to kill them.

 

Yeah I dont understand it he swore that I had to have sprayed it. Then showed him no bottle. Then poped the hood and showed him my bolt-on only LT1. Should have tould him Yeah just a slow LT1 maybe I should get some spray

 

I think the reason with the 5.0 is because they rarely race a stock 5.0. I mean, how many stock 5.0's are left out there? Parts are so cheap and plentiful for the 5.0 market [same with the carb sbc], it's easy to make one fast.

 

5.0s are not all that. Before the z28 i had a riced out mx6, it had a 2.5l v6 with greddy exhaust/cold air intake/chip/and some more stuff, i raced an 89 5.0 lx auto and we were side by side the whole time, now that I think over it I would have smoked him by 5 cars if i had the z28.
