Well i was heading down 38 coming back from the track and i see a New Edge Mustang w/ a grill merging on and coming up fast. So I got on it a little just to make sure he was coming after me lol. Sure enough he is so i punch it while hes behind just to see what hes got and it wasnt much he fell back fast. Then I see traffic up ahead and break so he flys by me while im slowing down(turned out to be a New Edge 2V GT ). Car sounded healthy but then again I guess all stangs do. So he gets the first spot at the next light in the left lane and I hit the merge lane because it was the only one open.. I was probably stopped 10 feet behind him. Light turns green and were off...After some traction woes(street rubber & 3600 Stall)I make up the 10 feet and hop out 2 cars and it only got worse after that,by 60 or so he had enough . Not sure what he had but it was atleast exhaust. Nice guy, he complimented me on my exhaust tone. It would have been nice if it was a 4v but seeing i havent raced in years I guess Ill take what I can get. Thx for reading.

It's always cool after race when you give eachother compliments,I mean after all no matter ford\chevy both are american muscle.I have to agree mustangs always sound so damn good,even stock.pisses me off.lol

 

Yea I use to bust Tims stones back in the day about slow mustangs but I always loved both equally....I was a 5.0 fox body guy to start, never liked mullet wagon turd. gens.

 

You always rocked the mullet so you fit in with the other fbody owners

 

Hairs far to curly to grow a mullet...but i could dream.

now is it that everyone hates 3rd gens because of who is portrayed to drive it? or you actually dont like the looks? i think the 3rd gens done right are one of the best looking camaros made. stock for stock though appearance did suffer with exception to the 91/92 z28s.. irocs were good looking as well..
