G35 Kill

So anyways I'm heading to work minding my own business like I always do, and all of a sudden a G35 and a Volkswagen fly in my way like maniacs from nowhere and of course all of a sudden there's a red light. There was only one lane open, so the G35 grabs it, followed by the Volkswagen, then by me. Light turns green, we go, I baby it, but slowly catch up, the VW is slowly passing him on the right and I'm all the way on the outside slowly passing them both. Next light, it's me and the G35 in front, the VW was behind the other guy I think. Of course I STILL suck at launching clutch so he gets the jump on me, I manage to make it back up and pass him by the end of 1st, and all the way up to 100 he was stuck by my rear bumper. Don't know where the VW went, I think it must have been a turbo model with some decent mods, looked like it had some good top end but couldn't hang from a stop. I saw him at another light turning left and he's sitting there rolling back and forth and spinning his tires. The G35 impressed me I must say, Nissan did a fairly good job with those 3.5s. Although he would have done worse if I wasn't stuck with my 3.23s and all season tires. Guess when I get some money I'll be getting headers and some sticky tires. I'll save the gear swap for when it blows, which shouldn't be long after.

Just thought I would share my experiences battling it out with a worthy car. It seems like there's so many ricers that want a piece but don't have nearly enough power.

Good kill. My friends got a heavily modded G35 and it runs 12.8's. The hp/$$ for those cars is sad.
