G35

Well a 2-door G35 pulled up next to me earlier (I'm in my Buick GS). Younger kid maybe early-mid 20's playin his music pretty loud. So light goes green he takes off swiftly but not full throttle I pace him, he looks over & I hit it. Got about a car length jump on him. As my car shifted into second he started to creep up a little bit then I slowed at about 60 with him right on my azz. (Lots of cops on this road especially on Sat. night). Then we caught another light next to each other & this time he didnt wanna go?? After that we're next to each other once more at a light with other cars infront. I beep at him to give him a thumbs up but he did'nt look over, maybe he didnt hear cause of his music. Oh well it was fun though I have'nt had a good one in a while. By the way I raced a 4-door G35 a while ago on the highway he jumped a car or so & it stayed that way until I hit my 110 mph cutoff.

Re: G35

my buddy's got a G35 sedan, an 03 with only 260hp.. thing destroys my 3.8L camaro.. i get him off the line (the G35 seems to have some kind of torque managment or something, dog off the line).. but he pulls alongside and flys past pretty quickly.. the top end on those things is impressive..

Re: G35

i have a 98 riviera with the same supercharged L67 motor in the regal. i think they are some of the most underrated cars of all time, especially with 400$ worth of bolt-ons. nice race, those vq35de's have a great top end.

Re: G35

Yeah, the 3800, in NA or supercharged form, is a pretty solid motor with a longstanding reputation.

I assume you're talking about the 4T60E. They last a long time if you leave the motor stock.

I've got 155,000 miles on the one in my '93 Regal, and 125,000 on the one in the '00 Bonneville, and they are both fine.

I beleive he's referring to the front-drive version (4T60E) used in Grand Prix, Regal, Bonneville, etc.
