I only lost 4 of 13 races or so, some fast cars out there. I beat a C4 vette. Here is the biggy, beat a 2004 cobra, i know he should have beat me but he didnt. it was sweet, i look foreward to going again sometime.

What is funny is that so many people think the 03-04 cobras are so much faster then LS1's... They really aren't that much faster stock and i've seen 01-02 LS1's run high 12's stock which is what most cobra owners get anyway. I have watched plenty of new cobra's run 13's...

The stock '03-'04 Cobra is a faster car than a stock LS1, but drivers can easily make the race much closer.

I was discussing that and a few other things Friday when I met him at Martin for the NMRA race. Friend of his has driven 12.4 flat in an '03 and he thinks he can get some good times in the fall in his '04, though it is slower than the 99 he is selling. Bob is a very down to earth guy and well versed in competitive drag racing.
