Well, driving through campus tonight I got caught at a light with a Dodge Dakota R/T reg. cab truck, with a mean sounding exhaust on it. The two guys kept looking over like they wanted something. I was'nt planning on racing but he launched hard when the light went green. He had some tirespin, as did I, but once I banged her into second I was gone! Those trucks are pretty quick. Can't wait to put on my K&N and hooker catback on. She did pretty well for a stock T/A.

 

Nice kill!! And yes those R/T's do sound mean.......but they are slow!!!!! A guy I work with had one with LT's, ORY, Flowmaster exahust all 3" from LT's back, ported heads, cam (kinda weak# 216-510 114LSA not 100% on the exact #'s) upgrated fuel delievery and a higher stall only like 2200 that was the biggest Nopar makes, stock 3:90 gears, relocated batt., traction bars, lowered. We went to the track after I bought my TA stock with 2500mi and he thought he was going to kill me.....well his best was a 14.116 @98.28 2.101 60' to my 13.52 @103.04 2.051 60' Teh stock LS1 ownz modded Nopar 360ci's

 

not with that stock intake manifold he wont. Bunch of people fail even go over 300 RWHP with head/cam packages.

 

No really, most people fail to go past the 300 RWHP mark w/ all bolton's and a heads and cam package!!

The Stock Manifold just will not let it.
