That's pathetic and extremely unimpressive.

?
You talking about the 12.8 @ 199mph import.

If so that's more of a sign of a BIG turbo on a little engine suffering from serious turbo lag. Kinda like a "fat guy in a little coat..."

Re: CRX race

"Torque" has little to do with mph vs ET. Rather, traction and driver skill (assuming a manual tranny) make all the difference in the world when it comes to putting together a good mph vs ET package.

I like to see that race with you and my 2006 yamaha M1. Only thing you'd see is your money going in my hand.

lol... i'm guessing you have an R1... i raced one this summer that had a full exhaust, and a handfull of v&h crap on it... yea he beat me when i was @ 25psi with a toasted O2 on my car (ran a bit lean, with few counts of knock)... he pulled me by about 1-2mph on the highway (to about 120mph)... it was funny as he kept looking back, like he was expecting to just flat out dust me... when he/we finally let off he shook his head in disbelief, then gave me a nod and the thumbs up... i've also raced 4 600's on the highway and put a 4-5mph hurtin on em all... my car is no joke, and i hope to run in the 135mph in the spring if the tranz will hold up...

internet racin'....

didn't mean to jack this thread, sorry

I'd take that on. My 'old' ZX-9 may not be rated as high as the newer liter bikes, but a muzzy 998 kit evens the field a little. My best time to date is a pathetic 9.82 with a poor 1.36 60' time. Where ya at and when do ya want to run??

Re: CRX race

No its not a are one. Its a M1. Race bike bro. Pushes over 200 back wheek horse power. When i first finished building it, I took it to the track and ran a 9.5 and missed a gear. Guessing i would have been in the high 8's if I didnt miss and let off the throttle. Its not set up for drag though. So from a roll, I'd pretty much murder you on one wheel. The only challenge would be me having to hold down the front. I can easly get the beast up to 200 mph.

Jeeze - somebody says beats a bike or two and here they come. 9ronone actually joined the board just to make that reply!

I think we all know by now that somebody always has a faster something than yours. Why beat it into the ground?

Re: CRX race

Im not trying to be a ***, but my first love is for two wheels. I have much more respect for a bike than I do a car. Though it is very very impressive when a car can hang with a bike. Although if the rider new how to ride I find it very hard to be done.

Re: CRX race

Well gee, not too many cars can "easily get the beast up to 200 mph" on 4 wheels. With ease. On public roads. Probably every day on the way to work...errr....school.

Re: CRX race

I have never gone over 170-180 mph on the street. And when i did go that fast I made sure it was safe to. I when 200 mph on a race track in 5th gear. Scared the crap out of me. Mainly b/c i still had one more gear and about a half wrist of throttle left. I raced twin turbo supra from a dig to 120, and murdered it. Then from a roll at 20, and killed him on on tire. And then from 100 to his max speed (which he said was 180) and killed him to 180. Al times we raced I damn near had a semi trucks length on him. Not to metion I had to baby it b/c the track slicks weren't sticking very well on the asfault. And that damn bike scares the crap out of me. Seems to never stop pulling.
