Cobra Kill

So I'm heading home from school at about 7pm and I see a red cobra up ahead. It was the 1998 body style with 300hp. So I go up next to him while cruisin and punch it for a sec to see if he wants play. He looks over, but does nothing. We get up to the light and I notice he's with his wife, LOL this should be funny. So I yell over "Wanna run em" and he replies "Of course I do!" Light turns green I flash it up to 3000 and I am gone. I've got him by over 3 car lengths by the top of first gear and continue pulling until 80 or so. I sure do LOVE these drag radials, haven't lost a random street race yet muahaha... lol

good kill. i know what you mean about the drag radials. mine went bald so i figured id run my spare street tires for a little while. i cant hook for sh*t. try a burnout and the car looks like its doing a donut without even trying. tire funding went to our new pool tho, so maybe next month ill get the m.t e/t's.

Re: Cobra Kill

I raced an 03 fully modded cobra last summer from a stop and I had to check to make sure I didn't put it in reverse because it sure seemed like I was going backwards. I was at dino days and he was there, he dinowed 645RW but hay I tried.

Re: Cobra Kill

i killed a 03 few months back, but didnt get to pull over and see his mods. at the time i was running 12.2 and beat him by 1 1/2 cars. so i guess he was lightly modded. beat a stock by 3 cars. it depends on mods and drivers.

Re: Cobra Kill

Don't really know, it was a "newer" one-purple in color, the post is still on here. Makes for some good read.
