Don't you mean cajones? Isn't huevos, eggs? As in huevos rancheros.

Re: Camaro vs. WRX

Ya but huevos is slang for cajones...anyhow, I kinda raced a WRX last night, it wasn't for very long cause I was turning right up ahead, but I stayed even with him on the launch and walked away from him the whole time. I'm pretty sure it was stock, and I don't really think he knew how to drive it very well, not to mention his 250 pound girlfriend riding shotgun

Re: Camaro vs. WRX

The cars are around the the higher times of the LT1's. My buddy in Texas has ones and we used to race at Angelton all the time, with him barely beating me out when I didn't have traction and me pulling around 5/10's on him in the 1/8th. This was also w/ Nitto DR's. He has exhaust, boost controller (maxing out the stock turbo on race fuel), Injen intake and some worthless looking intercooler bellows. I had a 355 w/ alot of bolt ons, cc304 and half azz ported heads. For about 20' they're not to bad from a 60 mph roll. No top speed!

Thumbs up Re: Camaro vs. WRX

I've got a WRX for a daily driver. Had it for nearly 3 years now, 77,000 miles... Uppipe, turboback, catback, TXS stage 1 chip, and AVC-R boost controller for the stock turbo. Ran a best of 13.39 @ 100.8 mph on a 1.81 60'. Screwing up the launch by bogging or slipping the clutch too much can knock off an easy 1/2 second. The WRX's best advantage is from a dead stop on the street, where they can still pull a good hard launch regardless of the pavement conditions.

If you're racing at the track (good to hear), then just concentrate on your launch and on your lane. Ignore the other guy and drive your race...
