raced a Talon tonight, kid from next town claimed of running high 10's. Don't know what my car runs yet so what the hell. Lined up on bypass, got me off the line about a car and by the time I was in 3 rd had him by a car and kept pulling through 4 th.chaulk one up for us older guys ( 43)

Awesome, how do you like the new set up? Just curious how driveable is it with that cam? Id be afriad to run that cam on a street driven 350. Id want a 383 so its easier to drive lol.

drives great, don't use 6 th gear very often unless cruising highway above 75, doesn't like cruising under 2500 rpm, other than that seems fine, not my daily driver just something to take out and play with, going back to Speed Inc and finish off my nitrous tune, was there last week and MSD opti had screws loosen after my first dyno pull, made 387 hp and 360 trq, now that ignition problem fixed should be interesting

What were the talon's mods? was it AWD? were you on the bottle?
I thought the gm847 was a semi small cam that had great driveability, why doesn't it like cruising below 2500? Sounds like you have a strong running setup though. Was that dyno run with the bottle? I'm assuming not..
