Back from the track with rain

Didnt get to make a full pass (1/8 with no VTEC)

But did get a chance to see a local LS1 owner with LT's, slicks and free mods run....13.70's@103-104

Super driver in a Z06 go 13.80@110-111

Buddies SRT-4 went 12.80@104 on stock turbo with basic mods and slicks

Buddies STOCK 350z with ET streets went 13.70@100
Buddies 900whp Supra.......broke a driveshaft
RX7 400whp........broke a tranny

Once the water dried they VHT'd the crap out of the launch pad
I also got an offer on the car I may have to take....I have been eyeing the 350 for a while and liking it the more I drive it.....

If I still have the car in May I will go back to the track and make another full pass....just thought I would share the stats of local LS1 drivers....the Z06 driver should be shot I know....but anything can happen right

I was at the same track as sergio saturday and ran my car for the first time. I cut the times in my sig uncorrected. I did see the guy in the supra break the driveshaft I was in the opposite lane I car behind. It was actually kind of funny (no offense to your friend). The RX7 had the track shut down for almost 1 hr. Anyway I'm going back to the track in a week or 2 with my Hoosier QTP's and hopefully cut a tenth or 2 off my time. The sixty foots sucked on my runs. Sergio I was the pewter Z with cutouts. I probably raced one of your friends on my last run of the day. I think it was a supra, but I'm not sure. It had some slicks on it. I know his # was 113 and he ran a 13.905@100.14. That was my worst run of the day (13.910@103.79 )and my worst 60' by far(2.439).

Did you run your car in the 1/8 and what were your times.

Do me a favor and explain to me how the stock 350 Z beat both the firebird and Z06 ? It is not near as fast as either ! But they both got beat ? Where im at the Z06's run 11.9-12.3 and the stock Birds and camaros run 13.7-13.0 on street tires . 300 Z's stock w/out turbos run high 14's low 15's and TT's run 13.8 to 14.4 stock ...........WTF ? My car will run a 12.7-12.8 NP with the small mods it has on drag radials . Im sure the alt . is different there , but , That Bird should be whooping that 300.......

He said 350 Z, not 300ZX ...A stock 350 Z is quite a bit quicker than a stock n/a 300 ZX.

Also, look at the Z06 mph...obiously the ET is due to lack of driver ability.

I could believe it, but I don't think you could call that Z06 driver super. 110-111 and a 13.8???

C'mon

350 -300 , w/e ,Who gives a **** ? It still sounds rediculous . Sounds like 2 drivers need to be shot .
Also , If you was " Correct the time " for the 350Z , what would it be ? These things are mid 14 second cars at my altitude level and I have beat a few stock ones easy in my LT1 . Just dont sound right to me .

If it was the ls1 camaro I think it is (black ss, seen it on base a couple of times) I don't know how the driver could screw up because it is an a4 with et streets. If he really ran a 13.7 I must have a freak because I only have a lid cutouts and a little weight reduction and I ran a 13.4 on street tires.

13.4 is good . Mine , If It wasnt so hot out the other day when I ran " super humid " I would have pulled a13.0 at least with my car , on street tires . Its just not feasable that a stock 350Z can run with an LS1 . They are not fast cars . Quick , but not fast . I dunnon man . Just sounds real bad to me .

I like how in Sergio's posts it seems like the American car guy can't drive, so he says we are slow. but the *** crap guy can pull awesome numbers so the *** cars are faster than we are

I've seen several 350Zs run high 13s @ 102 or so (stock), so him running 13.70 @100 is very feasable, especially w/ slicks. As far as it running w/ an LS1, yeah, equal drivers and it's no match. But have you ever been to the track? I've plenty of LS1 cars (vettes and fbodies) run 14s. I don't see how it's that hard to believe that it happened.

so, lemme get this straight... a board member drives an a4 ls1 f-body with a lid and a cut-out to a 13.4 @ 104.6 UNCORRECTED with a ****-poor 60 ft, but serg only "shares the stats of local ls1 drivers" (aka the village idiots) in the f-body with slicks/headers and the zo6.

oh, wait... he did say that a 350z ran a 13.7 on et streets. guess that a 350z is faster than both an ls1 f-body and a z06, eh sergio?

Look at his altitude . This is like saying that the corrected time for the 350Z is like a high 12 or something . This is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard . Maybe a Manual Z06 driven bye a 1 armed 1 legged man would get beat bye a 350Z . And the Firbird LS1....come on . That thing would rape the Z . No Contest . Its an auto , Right ? Either way , its a 12 second car . Come back to earth .
