No, what you saw was a bad driver in the Viper. People at Bandimere in CO have posted faster times than that, and they have at least a good couple thousand feet on you. You're a good driver, fine, but don't suddenly take away from the performance of these other cars you're racing just because they have a dip**** behind the wheel. 2800ft isn't going to make a properly-driven Viper run almost 2 seconds slower, c'mon.

And besides, if you're talking about smoking bolt-on LS1s, having an updated sig is gonna help you avoid a lot of the BS. People see "13.6" and thats still not LS1-beating terroritory, so I can see why others are giving you crap. I would figure for someone who races so much, he would have had updated times with his new mods posted by now.

So when board members say that all Type R integras run 14.80's because they SAW one run 14.8 thats okay? Even though some have gone as quick as 13.80's on streets...

The Viper driver was ****ty I agree...but thats the point of racing...once your lined up you wont know what happens till the end....if I only raced cars I knew I would beat i would quit racing...101 trap is no ****ing monster I know...its slow...I have never said it was fast as you now this....but I said I never back down from a driving challenge....

On top of that does EVERY single LS1 run better than 13.60's EVERY time it hits the strip? no matter the elevation, no matter the driver or the tires? Does the LS1 hold magical powers that make it unbeatable.....see why even other domestic owners call LS1 owners jerks....no car is unbeatable....my goal is not 13.60's to beat stock/lightly modded F-bodies....but for right now thats the range I am in....I win some, I lose some....but at least I race in REALITY where every car can lose, where the driver can make or break a race not where every bone stock LS1 has sUpA pOwAs

But apparently when you post a kill of an LS1 its only legitimate if you post the driver's competition license because its not a kill unless god himself is driving the unbeatable 13 sec ride

Grow up guys jeez

Let me find some slicks (I sold my DR's)

It has nothing to do with you beating a LS1 and LS1 guys being jerks. It has to do with the BS you are spewing. I was under the impression that you race at higher than 3000' elevation. We have track here in Tucson which is 3100' and LS1s (with decent drivers) still run 13.4-13.8 @ 101-104. My buddy ran 13.4 @ 104 100% bone stock at 3100' and I guarantee wherever you're racing, the air isn't worse than AZ air. Nobody is wrongfully 'defending' the LS1 here. If you ran consistent mid-high 13s at your altitude, I can see you running right with stock or lightly modded LS1s and nobody would give you **** for your claims. I know track conditions will vary, but your car isn't going to run with a intake/exhaust LS1. Not because I'm being a jerk or because this or that...but because your car isn't fast enough.

I think you would take them with DR's . Your looking at a 13.5 at least . Unless you have a GREAT driver in the Evo . so far I have seen 5 SRT's run . average times where a 14.2 . Seen one running a 13.9 prety consitant . They all pretty much pull high 13's stock " real world numbers " My money would be on the pony .

What car was he talking about beating, like a red headed step child?
Very true . Its like Carl Lewis trying to run a marathon breathing thrue a straw .

At most an intake...the guy ran open header but was stuck with CRV (Honda SUV) wheels (heavy steel)

Now granted this was sea level with a great driver but its more than possible the 60 was only a 2.0 (street tires)

But everybody on this board is POSITIVE they run 14.8's....which coincedently is what Wine and Cheese rags have them listed at...and we all know what great drag racers those guys are....

JT sure....whatever you wanna tell yourself if fine

So I have guys in Arizona telling me what happens locally I'll be sure to pass that on this weekend and what crappy drivers they are because their stock corvettes are running in the 14's when they should be busting 13.40's@3000ft stock Amazing Some of these guys should go on tour

So what is the fastest 1/4 mile run for a BONE STOCK Integra Type R? Low to mid 14s? I bet they run about 14.8 for the average car and a decent driver in good air. Just like my car runs low 14s and a stock LS1 runs mid 13s, stock with a decent driver in good air. People have gotten 13.6ish out of my car bone stock and high 12s out of bone stock LS1s. But is that the norm? Hell no! You can't find the fastest time ever and act like that's what they normally run. That 13.8 is an exceptional run, with all planets aligned, just like a 13.6 out of my car stock and a high 12 second LS1 time.

Agreed,
