Another one bites the dust!

A buddy of mine just bought a Dodge Stealth TT today I think they are rated at 320HP stock. Anyway he said it was 'chipped' and thats it. He wanted to go for a race and the other guy with him that rode in my car before didn't think I would win. So we went out to the hiway, went from a stop.

I honked 3 times and got the jump (i think he bogged it or something) burning 1st
gear bad and never seen him. Not sure how far I was ahead shutting down at 120mph.

Then he wanted to go again, so I told him to honk 3 times. He revved it to 6k honked 3 times then put an instant 3-4 cars on me. I got a better launch but still burned 1st. By the time I was at around 4900rpm in 3rd I went by, shifted to 4th at 6k and left him behind.

Didn't know what to expect out of these cars since its the first one I raced. Now its time for the CC306, 3:73's, and some 315 Nittos with a 100 shot of
N20

Re: Another one bites the dust!

thats pretty good. is it a 6 speed? im not sure if they even made autos. my friend has a 95 stealth twin turbo AWD. its pretty quick for all stock.

on the way to the dragstrip a few weeks ago we were our own cars and i went to pass him on a 2 lane highway and we both kinda went. it was pretty close, hard to say who the winner was but my car is kinda tempremental right now and the clutch is very inconsistent. i think i should have him on the top end with a new clutch and he shouldnt rape me too bad off the line once i get nittos.

It is a 5 speed. I went for a ride in it the next night and damn, those cars sure make it feel like your going fast. They are pretty quick but once you get your car sorted out you should have no problems beating him
