I was riding down the road following a guy in a 98 Cobra when a saturn ION 2 door started messing with him. Normally I wouldn't mess with one but I noticed when the guy in the cobra tried to pull away for a second then shut down the ION was right on his a$$ .

Finally I pulled up next to the guy and heard it whining. Dam* thing was supercharged. Finally went to a designated place and watched them run. Up until 3rd gear it was even then the cobra creeped away and when he hit 4th he had a few cars on the saturn. If I had to guess I'd say that was a 13.9 or better saturn ION 5 speed. Considering he had 2 passengers in the car I'd reallllly be curious how much difference that made.

As far as me racing the cobra, I let them both lead and I had to hit the breaks before too long . Interesting race though, too bad I didn't have a camera.

It was a Ion REDLINE....And that Cobra should have wiped him, And you should have MURDERED both of them but awesome story

i thought ion's were 4 seaters...

Either way..those Ion redlines are pretty impressive.I'm looking for a wrecked one to do a little swap into my SC-1
