93 Z28 vs 98 Cobra

my friend bought a nice 98 cobra which is pretty nice. It doesnt have any work done to it but claims its so fast. So one day after leavin the gym we decided to do a little run. While stopping in the street he honked three times and we both hit it... i spun pretty bad threw 1st and herd him churpin a little by around 100 i was to gone ( my side view mirror never looked so sweet) He claimed he missed third but didnt wanna race until he got new tires... should i be worried when he does get new tires or if he doesnt miss a gear?... he isnt get DR's or anything anything crazy...thanks

98 Cobras generally run in the high 13's, closer to mids w/ a good driver...Its a drivers car so he'll definately have to learn how to drive it...You guys are pretty evenly matched right now w/ him maybe being a little faster in the top end. Gears, tires, a few bolt ons(meaning catback & intake) and a good driver and there 12 second cars.

What gears you runnin with that stall? I think if you have 3.42s or 3.73s with that stall you will take him. Personally I would have went a bit larger on the stall.

I ran a precision industries 2800 stall with 3.42 gears in my A4 ( 97 LT1 )
and on stickies picked up 8 tenths over factory.

Getting back to the kill at hand...
Nice one
